Wastewater Treatment Superintendent

The City of Fayette, Missouri is accepting applications for Wastewater Treatment Superintendent in the Sewer Department.  The responsibilities of this position are:   supervisory work in planning, coordinating, evaluating, and implementing the wastewater treatment process.  Duties include scheduling repair and maintenance projects, planning and coordinating work assignments, materials, and equipment and supervising and inspecting work.  An incumbent manages projects to ensure that work is completed safely, effectively and efficiently.  Work is performed under the general supervision of the Public Works Director.  Qualifications include high school diploma (or GED) and Certified Class “C” or greater Wastewater Treatment License, considerable experience in wastewater treatment including supervisory experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.  Applications are available in the City Clerk’s Office, 117 S.
