The City of Fayette is accepting applications for

FREE FAMILY POOL PASSES

For the 2026 Swimming Pool Season
Applications must be picked up and dropped off at
Fayette City Hall
117 S Main Street
(or use the Utility Office Drop Box)
Applications must be submitted by April 30, 2026

The FREE FAMILY POOL PASSES will be awarded to families who are income eligible as defined by Federal Income Guidelines. If you have questions, please call City Hall at 660-248-5246.

Important Information: If there are more applicants than pool passes, recipients will be selected by a random drawing.

The City of Fayette and the Fayette Pool Manager and Staff will be responsible for keeping track of the families who have the FREE POOL PASSES and for their appropriate usage. If the POOL PASS is abused, then the POOL PASS may be revoked, if the offense is deemed severe enough to merit such action. This action will be determined by the Pool Manager and Staff and is not subject to appeal.

City of Fayette – Street Improvement Update 🚧✨

• ✅ Great progress is already underway!
  You may have noticed completed intersection improvements at:
  • Depot & Church
  • Hackberry & Church
  • Walnut & Church

These upgrades help create smoother, safer intersections for everyone!

• 🚧 Next phase now in progress:
  Crews are currently working on important concrete improvements preceding the next phase, including curb repair along the west side of the Howard County Courthouse, concrete work on Vine Street, and near the school entrance.
• 🌞 Coming in early summer:
  Even more enhancements are on the way! Asphalt overlay work will begin on the following streets:
  • Davis Street
  • Morrison Street
  • Lucky Street
  • Spring Street

Between July and August, new seal coating and fresh striping around the downtown square will take place.

  We are thrilled to see these much-needed improvements taking shape and appreciate your patience as we continue investing in Fayette’s infrastructure.
