As a part of a Community Forestry Cost Share Grant application to the Missouri Department of Conservation, the City of Fayette is requesting bids to remove stumps, grind stumps, and remove all debris for 6 trees. Due to Missouri Department of Conservation restrictions related to bat habitat, the trees may not be removed before Nov. 1st, but would need to be done the first week of November to allow for planting. Bids need to include the removal of ALL debris as well as grinding stumps, area raked clean, and roadway swept or blown clear of any sawdust or wood chips. Stumps must be ground to a depth of 4 inches below the surface of the surrounding grade of land.
